Patricia Plumb
Patricia Plumb, M.A. Ed., M.A.Theo.
As an Organizational Development Consultant for twenty years, Patricia Plumb, M.A.Ed., M.A.Theo. has trained over 7,600 leaders on topics such as leading teams, facilitating agreement, coaching, communication skills, and process analysis. She pioneered a graduate program for UMKC/Crittenton (a mental health and wellness facility) equipping school counselors in working with students at-risk and presented to parents on building a child’s self-esteem, grief, and communication skills. Patricia’s work has also embraced shared leadership in forgiveness and reconciliation on behalf of The Forgiveness Institute (President/Vice President), International Forgiveness Institute (Program Manager for KS/MO), and The Shepherd’s Touch (CEO). Patricia has served on the Kansas City Advisory Board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and on the pastoral team at Wexford Place.
The Shepherd’s Touch, is a ministry established in 2018, under the umbrella 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Character that Counts. “Let your heart notice the one who has no Shepherd, the one who has not felt My touch” Draw near Devotions. The vision is to change lives by teaching forgiveness and reconciliation, in the spirit of Jesus Christ by sharing the forgiveness message through speaking, writing, and advocacy. The primary audiences are churches, families, and those facing the end of earthly life. Patricia joined the CTC staff on January 1, 2018.

Speaker Summary: Patricia Plumb was our speaker today. It is seldom that we have a woman speaker for our group, but each time Patricia brings a unique insight to our relationship with our Savior. In a scripture rich message on how important God’s presence and grace is in our lives. There were personal stories from her neighborhood encounters as well as familiar stories of men who found their ways back to that real and enriching life in God. The narrative of her message is attached, and it is well worth a second look at the stories shared to assess how each of us is faring after this long winter of separation.
